My sister's dogs found this on the beach near Blackpool.

Not entirely sure that is netting and not yards and yards of monofil - wondering if someone cracked off on the cast.

That's true, but the crude gear used by some of the noddies  who manage to leave tackle in fish can beggar belief.

 

I've found a few examples like that over the years.
