Bass in Anglesey

I have to go to Anglesey next week on business... so I thought I'd pack my gear and do some lure fishing for bass... has anyone any advice on where to fish? Not after your exact marks guys... just an indication! Thanks in advance...

I was there in june and it seemed Penmon point was abit of a hotspot. If its clear its a nice bit of mixed ground to work lures over.

Thansk Spur-hound... tried there my self in June but blanked ! Must have been on the wrong rock !!! But it is a favourite haunt of mine, so I'll give it another go...

Fish to the right of Llandwyn Island onto the sand with local lug whilst there is some North in the wind, there are plenty there. When the wind goes back to SW try Newborough at low water near the country club just to the left of the bed of muscle again with lug.

 

If you fancy an evening plugging try between the old Aquarium and the flag pole, towards Penmon, at Beaumaris. poppers, walking sticks and if it is calm wagglers work well. No good during the day, too much traffic and noise.

Thanks Chris... much appreciated... will try both venues... when you say Beaumaris, traffic and noise... do you mean just off the green in the town, where the cars park? or further round the cost toward Penmon?

Go to the end of the green towards Penmon, park at the far end and walk round the old Aquarium. Fish between there and the first house with a flag pole.
