Big Jo,
mielie pap used to work here not any more mate. But what you can do make miele pap roll it and then harden it in the micro wave, there after you can flavour then, they actually take on flavour well.

from this side of the ocean get onto tiger nuts, here in SA the best bait out even beats maize!!

Hi Big Jo
Have a look at a new dvd .. "Fresh Fishing - the Carp". There's a sequence with Bryan Jarrett making a slowly sinking boilie for a hook bait. The recipe is also on the Top Bites page of www.freshfishing.co.uk
And on the dvd Bryan also shows you how to make his favourite boiled hemp groundbait.
The film also has lots of underwater and natural history and Dave Lane climbing trees! Science shows you can't hide from a carp!! You can buy the dvd on the website for 19.99, free delivery. Or ring 0800 012 7788
Hope this is helpful ...
