  1. Surfing the internet came acros this article. Is it for real? Catch a bigger fish by using a woman’s pubic hair as bait. You’ll be hooking beautiful four pounders all the time! How it works: fish communicate using chemicals and have highly sensitive receptors to smell - and research shows they’re attracted to human female chemicals which are at their strongest in pubic hair. Note: human male chemicals repel fish - use a man’s pubic hair and you’ll never catch a fish again! Web page: www.personalandfinanceconfidential.co.uk/article.php?bbcam=adwds&bbkid=fishing+bait&x=&jtid=152440&client_code=&p_id=34 or try this page and click on the "fishing bait" link at the bottom. http://www.worldseafishing.com/news/172/AR...2006-06-18.html
  2. I have a double inflatable. It is surprisingly strong, very comfortable and easy to paddle. The big advantages are obviously the portability and the weight. However as previously mentioned they are hard to paddle in wind and are more likely to be pushed around by tide and currents. This can make the paddling on these days hard work (so i leave it at home). Have had no problems with punctures but have been very careful (came with a pressure gauge) and only take a limited amount of tackle and other equipment. Having been out on hard and blow up the hard kayaks are much better. the only reasons to be blow up would be as the first paragraph. The cost of a decent inflatable is about the same as a hard kayak. (not tried filling it with helium yet, that might make it fun)
  3. Thanks - ill have a shop arround.
  4. Hi all I have just purchased a 'Crewsaver' dry suit with Neoprene seals. I have not used it yet and am slightly concerned about the neoprene feet as they are quite thin and may wear quickly when walking to the slipway. Does anyone else have a Crewsaver suit that could advise me on this. Cheers and Merry Christmas
  5. After a lot of shopping around and visiting various yak shops ended up buying a Bic Tobago for a bit of fun and stability when with the kids and a Tarpon 160I when I wanted to get somewhere fast and fun whilst fishing on the way. So it all depends on the water you are on, the weather, and your own ability. I have to say that the Tarpon 160! Is great fun and fast but it’s a long way from bow to stern when fishing.
  6. Great boat ! Have one myself in yellow. Your seats look more comfortable than mine, however, I do have rod holders in the seats which saves drilling into the boat and worrying about leaks. I have been out on my own as well as with wife and kids. Have found it a hard paddle in the wind and currents when on my own as i sit on the rear seat (as advised by shop) and the front raises to high. Not too bad with the children up front as they correct the balance. I will try the middle next time as per your photo. Kids love it (can take two at once) as they fish while i do all the work and paddle! Have found the boat very tough, dropped it of my car once (ford galaxy) not a scratch, crack or bump to be seen! Cheers Good photos Nigel
