yes i did unninstal it,then reinstalled it but i still keep getting the same reply ,its as if it cannot see the scanner,,yet in add and remove it has visioneer and paperport so it is installed ok ,i am running windows me

Hiya everyone . my scanner is playing up big style ,i use the paperport visioneer scanner,and since i reformatted my pc ,when i open the scanner and use twain,i get a message saying cannot find scanner. in the file menu i choose ,select source and visioneer is not there ,the only one that is there is scan manager ,so click that and when i open twain there it is again cannot find scanner grrrrrrrrrrrrrr,,help would be lovely cheers fasser....

Well boys and girls i have a strange problem with me puter. my clock keeps losing 10 minutes,its ok untill i go on line then the clock loses 10 mins , when i log out it stays as is,untill i rest the clock again . Im told by some it may need a new battery,but the pc is only 18 months old surely it hasnt ran down yet . helllllllllllllllp please fasser....

Hiya everyone and all the best for 2003. i have gone and got a worm of some type,,its a w something or other . since i got the worm all that i keep getting is advert after advert ,,every 5 seconds or so grrrrrrr. i got it of msn messenger,,and everything i get is off them or simular sites to them ,,can anyone tell me how to get rid of this worm,,i have tried system restore and it is still there.. please can someone help,,im sorry i cant be more clear of the type of worm,,i was just hoping someone was familular with it . thanks fasser....

Newt or any of you clever people ,i wonder if you could help with a printer problem. My friend bought a new pc and printer package,but after a few weeks his printer is not working it does a test page then nothing at all. he even tried his old printer in the new pc but still nothing ,,he says it is just not recognising it . he has uninstalled and re installed but still no good ,,any suggestions would be great thanx . fasser

I have recently found a problem with my sons mobile phone he is on o2 network,formely bt cellnet. he has not been able to recieve any text messages in the last couple of days,yesterday his mate tried to send a ring tone ,but he never recieved it and his mate,s phone said message pending??. i dont know if he has played with the settings by mistake ,so any help would be fandabbydozy cheers fasser....

michael owen will always be dangerous ,he apparently played with a groin strain so there is an excuse for his lack of endeavour,whilst he still scored ,and this is from an everton fan , but Emille heskey,i cant believe that the commentators where saying its one of his better games , he is so unskilfull he goes to ground very quick for a big guy ,,he is absolute crap,robbie fowler must feel well gutted .get shut of emille heskey ,and who knows fasser....

First off i would like to say thanx once again for all the replys to my problem ,nice to know someone is always ready to help . and finally ....yipeeeeee i fixed something for a change, the fix it uttilitie apparently sent 28 thousand and odd temp internet files to the recycle bin ,so it was choked and could not do bugger all ,i deleted them and hey presto its fixed thanx once again fasser....

To newt or anyone of you nice peeps . Ihave a problem that is realy beginning to bug me now. The other day i ran a fix it uttilities application through my computer the actual test i ran was called all in one ,it ssuppose to free up space make things run quicker get rid of unwanted files etc. since doing this i have had problems with certain programmes not running properly and the ones that do have slowed down a bit ,but the one thing that is bugging me is the recycle bin,i click it and about 4-5 mins later it comes up with nothing in it ,even though i have put about 10 items in it . then from nowhere i get the recycle bin up on the screen saying ther are 28,674 items in the bin , i have restored my system back to earlier dates but it still does the same thing ,even the scan disk wont work properly . can anyone advise please ,i would be eternally in love with you if you could . fasser....
