I'm the same as other posters Alan Fawcett etc.iv'e not been able to do alot the last 3yrs its then when you really miss it theres not a day go by when i'm not thinking about fishing ,where i might go ,what new tackle shall i buy this site &others has kep't me sane during my darker hour;s hour;s but now iv'e come out into lifht again already planing my fishing outing's for the coming season after June 16th not reallyinto fishing in what i stilll call the close season just a personal opoinion not knocking anglers who do.

I got my knickname of larry from being called Fat Larryat work.years ago about 15 yrs i think i used be 18st 7lbs in weight,then i went to to the quacks for something can;t remember what he said i was way over weihgt &sent me for some blood test s anyway i went back for the reports nothing wrong ,but my blood preessure was to high &if i didn't get it down ,no need to make plan's for the future as i wouldnt be .so armed with a healthy eating plan &help from a local gym i lost 6st 7lb in 6 mths So after that they couldn't call me Fat Larry so just call me Larry now &used it as my knickname on the web as it seem's appro :cool: priate to have psuedonym on the web.

Newt , unfortunatly,i need to use the line on my own club;s pool &at the moment the club has a ban on braid so we can use mono line only they believe braid cause's to much mouth damage .its voted on each agm but still gets banned.

Thanks Gaffer, For your prompt reply what make are your greys I use the method a lot on my own clubs pool so if they do method as well i may be able to do away with the rods i use for the method at the moment i could sell them to help offset the cost of new rod's would you stay at 12lbs on the 2 rods i eventually want or go 12 &15 lbs.
