not a rare fish but i once landed a pike when useing my marker float no hook it just grabbed the line below the float and wouldnt let go i had to cut the line and pull the loose end through

ive been a couple of times since i caught and struggled location seems to be the issue i have as im not 100% sure of where i should be looking if anyone can give me a few pointers i would be grateful i cant believe how the rivers gripped me i enjoy my time there but i feel i could be fishing better thanks Graham

thanks fellas caught the fish on ledgered worm feeding chopped worm, maggots and casters fished in a slightly wider area of the river between two trees

thanks fellas reading and enjoying my way through it had a couple of hours off yesterday and decided to have a go fished a bit blind but had a pb 1lb 12oz stripey cant tell you how thrilled i was, not a monster but a great boost for my confidence thanks again

try whackercatcher they have a website ive had a good season on their 'the nutz' boilies and i no a few lads on the syndicate i fish love their peach and pepper i also got a very good price from them

hello to you all newbie to the forum and i could do with a little help ive mainly carp fished for the last 20 years but i recently moved and have fallen in love with the river and the perch that it holds,unfortunatlly i have no experience or no how on how to catch these creatures so if anyone can push me in the right direction like what features to look for, weather conditions tactics i would be eternally grateful many thanks Graham
