i'm sure there was a very good article in improve your coarse fishing about a year ago entitled "hit and hold" and it was packed full of good gen i'll have a look through my old copies and see if i can find it so i can let you know which issue it was in.

IF THERE IS ONE THING I HATE IN LIFE IT IS BEING SNEERED AT BY FELLOW ANGLERS!!!!!!!! If you haven't gussed by now i'm pretty angry at the moment because i have just be preparing for our club AGM and reading back over the previous minutes. Its not them that gets my goat up it is the thought of one angler and his willingness to speak his mind even though he is full of s**t. He belives himself to be the best match angler since sliced bread but the truth of the matter is he has hardly caught a fish let alone his suposed bag fulls that he claims when there is no one arround. He also has an opnion on everything and will talk it to death even if he is wrong.So here goes for a long drawn out meeting that will cut down on our drinking time afterwards. Sorry, thats better i didn't mean to sound off but it has let me vent my anger before the meeting. can any one shed some light on when fishing choppie or a worm slurry is it best to use a whole worm or just a small segment on the hook? i have a match tomorrow and would like to be able to get things right for the first match off the year as it will be mainly a bag off small perch and roach.
