Hi there Woz I have just joined Tonbridge Angling Club, fished the ballast first time Sunday, few small roach and 1 bream about 3lb, guy in next swim had a couple of bream around 5lb mark plenty of fish showing. hope this has been of some use Gaz

had similar experinces on the Trent in Nottingham, had a couple of two pounders right outside the City Ground, had a group of about 70 forest fans shouting and chearing as i landed one in late 80's just before a Forest v Blackburn match when Shearer was playing for Blackburn.

Hello all, just in the process of restarting fishing again after 2.5year break, had to sell all my gear to move down to Kent from Notts. I live in Sevenoaks and any advice on waters and clubs welcome. thinking of starting of light to medium float fishing on the medway around Tonbridge with a view to joining Tonbridge Angling club. Used to fish for most species but favored Tench in the Summer surface fishing for Carp in the summer Perch & Roach in late summer Autumn and pike & Perch in Winter. Hello my Name is Gary, just in the process of starting back up again. sold all my gear 2 & half years ago to move down to Kent. Any advice on places and best tactics etc would be grateful. thinking of starting off with the medway at Tonbridge with a view to joining Tonbridge Angling Club. I fish for most species and try to target certain fish at certain times of the season, starting with Tench and propably Roach, then maybe carp if i can afford the gear then Perch and Pike.favorite in order at the moment are Tench, Perch, Pike then Carp. any advice welcome Gaz1963
