I regularly see flounders in a wier-pool about 15 miles from the sea happily swimming about with sea-trout and all kinds of coarse fish, a couple of years back a seal was in the same pool gorging on the trout! I have`nt caught any though but i have heard of them being caught on flies intended for the trout.

The overall quality of the judges has been abismall especially in the boxing, Barry Maguigan said that he could tell who the winner would be within the first minute of the bout because of the biased judges not awarding points for perfectly good shots. Lets hope the IOC sort this issue out before London 2012.

I`m fascinated by these storms mainly `cos of being caught up in a couple of `em and seeing what they can do first hand. This one looks special, keep your eye one this one Newt (no pun intended) and keep us updated.

If you do go there do not leave your tackle unnattended even if you need the loo, two of my mates had their boxes pillaged & one of them even had his abu taken from his rod. When asking his fellow "anglers" if they knew who had stolen his gear they just pretended that they could`nt speak English. Lets just say he was`nt best pleased.
