  5. We at Anglingnews and Anglingforums have just received this email ************************ C'mon then, are you up for it - Intersite Challenge 2003 Hi Everyone, Just a quick line first to introduce myself to those of you who don't already know me: My name is Dave Webster and I run the website Maggotdrowning.com. That was quick enough now down to the nitty gritty. How do you fancy joining in an 'Intersite Challenge' series of fishing matches? It has been suggested that we should get together various sites for a three-match mini series over the course of next year, each site throwing open to their visitors the opportunity to fish for 'their' website at three different locations across England. It would all be for a bit of fun and an angler would not have to be available to fish all three matches but could fish one near to him/her. Teams could consists of (for example) 6 anglers per site, per match and points could be awarded for overall team weights, etc; the overall winning team would be the one with the most points of the series - obviously :-) Cost wise would be limited to the cost per team of the venue which could be recouped from the team member. Any pools, etc would be 'on the day' between the competing anglers, if decided. The venues - it has again been suggested that we have a venue in each of the following areas: North England, Midlands and South. So C'mon then, are you up for it? Run it by your visitors, see if there is any interest and if so let me know asap and we'll get the ball rolling. Regards, Dave Webster http://www.maggotdrowning.com Oh and by the way, this is not, no how, no way, by any means a cheap stunt to promote my site nor will it be used as :-) ***************************

Pikeman quote: dragonbat dont be such a sensitive soul. my comments were made in a semi light-hearted manner, to create an interesting debate. I have no soul Pikeman as to light-hearted debate, Arse-bubbles more like. Nothing better than a prime 20lb pike or a 20 lb carp any fish in fact,it's the taking part that counts. Fishing is a varied sport it's each to his own way of fishing. Top tip on the forum, The Pike Anglers on here are some of the Uk's finest read and learn. That goes for the Carp boys seeing that it' Xmas. All this Pike talk has got me going must take it up again the Carp in my pools are getting to easy to catch it must be the Stinko. As for Trogg he has a face like a Catfish and can't use Stinko.
