anyone got any tips for peg two on the lot? ive had a few tench but not much its only the demo

I had a good day catching bream on friday and i was using csl pellets and double red. i was fishing a carp water though so it mit not work on that pool dont know never fished it. crumb is normally best for bream with lots of particles ( hemp works well) good luck

if they just sat and looked at me i wound be happy but they eat every thing then get in the water and start trying to eat the bait i put in the margin ( its only 18 inches deep) how they know its there i dont now because the water is as muddy as hell.

I think i better defend myself here because it sounds like you 1 step away from killing every under 18 year old in the world. i have never done any off the thinks above of but i have seen it happen but also it happens to me from adults but they just ingnore you. I have been fishing so many time before and a bloke has come onto the lake and asked every1 on the place "hows it fishing" "caught much" then when he gets to me he just shrugs past with out a word. that gets on my nerves some times wat am i going to do bit or does he just think that just because im under 18 i cant catch fish?

does anyone here hate ducks as much as i do? i dont mean to sound like a anti nature person, but on man made fisheries they really get on my nerves. there is this fishery near me and no joke there must be 100 ducks on it in all. but you go down the road to an border fisheries and there is none. there must be a way of stopping them because some times thay just destroy the day out. does anybody know a way to keep them out of your peg why your fiahing?

Ratcliff-on-soar it was called and i won the match with 14.8 i had loads of perch and 2 barbel one was 7.8 my pb. theris alot of small fish there one bloke had 11 lb and nothing was bigger than 2 oz. wont be there again because i live in chester and no one in my club likes the drive so we are not having it there next year. ill be back one day. wats a good day on the soar?

Does it matter how much line you leave between the hook and the weight? If it does what length do you should i use for Tench averaging 2-4lb?

I planning to go on holiday next year to Irland and wanted some hints and tips. I have been befroe but never did very well and i really needed to know what i was doing. Ill be goin to Co. Clare probable fishing the Derg and the lakes. I prefere the lakes so if anyone has ever been there and fished the area then any tips will be helpful. also does anyone have any idea what time of year is best for alround sport in Ireland? I went at easter but i know mates that have jst come back and said they had a really good time.

the best way to find the bottem is to use a plummet. They only cost 60p if that and you just but it on the bottem of your line on the hook (your local tackle shop owner will show you how if you ask nicly) and then just through it in if your float goes under your float is to shallow if it lies on the top of the water its to deep and it it is straight up its on the bottem. this is a very breif way of using the plummet and it will take some time to get used to but good luck sam

the best roach venue in the area has got to be the river weaver. The roach on the red lion stretch go up to 10 oz and you can get bags of up to 20lb in winter. i don't know about summer but its surpposed to be a bit more wide spread instead of just a few pegs. hemp is the best tactic and tares on a 16/18 hook using stik or pole down the centre of the river. It also through up a few bream on groundbait and feeder tactic now and then but ive never had one.
