  5. I have 2 mean little Arthers (i cant spell), and they are great. Good metalic colours that look fab in the water with the added rattle. These people know what they are doing!

  7. Just wanted to say that my daily number of hits to my site has doubled since using this tool! Has enybody else registered with it? What do you think?
  8. I have come across a site that offers large ammounts of traffic to your web site and all you need is their search box . Most of you are now thinging "they r all scams  ". Well most are and i admitt to being fooled a few times . The new site i have found is different. Go to http://www.geocities.com/fishing244/uk6.html which is my links page. Look at the bottom where it says traffic swarm and click on it. Read all about it and join if you like the sounds of it. I am currently using it and reaping the benifitts . http://www.kingfisher-club.vze.com is my main page. Near the bottom you will see a blue globe. This is a tracker! Have a look at the geo tracking! This site is no scam. 28 different countries have now visited my site!
  9. I once bought cheap Keents Umbrella. Bad idea! A little bit of wind later and it was bust! Took it back and got a refund mind!
  10. Im a big fan of the ESP surface controllers. I also like chum mixers over bread and an artificail mixer on the hook. A clear hooklength is also vital. On my local water the carp are as brave as hell on the surface as few people have ever tryed it there. It only takes a few minutes before they are sucking away. If you have never seen people surface fishing on your local water i suggest giving it a go.
  11. Im 17 and at 6th Form College studying I.C.T. , Geology and psychology. I am interested in getting into something like the EA. What jobs are there that involve natue, fish, concervation or other such things??? Thanks
  12. I add a bit of water in the summer but appart from that i do nothing.
  13. I have never been asked in about 5 years but i suggest to Ian that you buy a licence. If caught you will not only get fined, but they can take all your fishing tackle! HORROR! There was a thing in the paper not long ago about sum kids who had all their tackle nicked off some guy predending to be a balif. So ask to see their ID if asked for you licence.
  14. I have a Tancho Koaku koi about 6" long (noy including tail) and some smaller ghosts. They have been in there since summer and have put on some weight. I wanted to know about how old this fish is (6" long) and how much bigger it will get in a years time. I know they grow fast as juveniles then slow down as adults, but how fast and how slow?
  15. I think about 5 golden orfe will do. Cheers guys !
  16. I was fishing a large pond near me in the summer when the owner walked past me with a camera. Suddenly i was into a carp so he stopped and watched. When i got the carp out he snapped a few pics and now i notice im on the web page. http://www.millpond.co.uk/cfishing.htm im on the far right with the hat on.
  17. I also notice they go for the biggest fish they can  ! A friend of mine found her biggest carp on the lawn dead. Turns out a heron had picked it out but couldn't carry or eat it.
  18. I melted a hole in the ice earlier and dropped in a tennis ball. Does the trick !
  19. Cool. I think that some golden rudd and orfe will do nicely. Do you have blue, pink or golden orfe? All are available at my aquatics centre. Will they go together?
  20. quote: is it over 28 inches deep ?? The pond is about 2.5ft deep. I think i shall leave em where they are and just buy something else for the aquarium.
  21. The pleco is a warm water fish but some types can live at room temp. On the other hand there is a species called the butterfly pleco which can live in cold water (but they are not suitable for pond). The only downfall of the plec is that they are expensive! Especially the butterfly pleco which is hard to come by. £5.99 for a fish of 1 inch!
  22. I want to bring in a tench or a small carp in from the pond into the tank for winter. The tank size is ok so do you think its a good idea. It is an unheated aquarium but a lot warmer than the pond.
  23. At 8oC+ my carp feed on wheat germ but below that i dont feed. Sometimes i drop a red worm in for tench on warmer days.
  24. A tench, 2 ghost and 1 koi carp. Looking for ideas for summer when im stocking more. What do you recomend?
