    I was wondering if anyone could recommend either Braid, or Monofilament for Deep Sea Fishing? I'm going to fishing depths of 150-300 feet, and hopefully catching fish in the 40-150 pound mark. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

    Their is a man located in Ireland by the name of Mickey Georgelin that used to be an expert with these sort of topics. See if you can somehow find him online. I believe he was a certified fly casting instructor. Correct me if I'm wrong.
