im 15 and i have finished all my exams in the last year and im off school, so have nothing better to do, also i am fishing on thursday.

only last year i was fishing a private lake with one of my uncles and while he wasnt catching much, in 6 hours i caught 86 crucian carp to 2lb, 12 tench to 5lb, 8 roach to 1 lb 4oz, and 2 proper carp to just over 7lb, he hasnt asked to take me there again yet.

i think they can, as one was caught at hopton waters in huddersfield i think

ide dont have orange/red eyes do they, every one ive caught had normal eyes. it could be a hybrid chub+roach

i hooked into a full rod and reel outfit, with a lead weight still attached, ive still got it at home.

has any one used these, if so can you tell me if they are any good and what you caught on them please as i have jus got a tub

would pellet waggler work and if so how would i set up the rig and what do i need (bait, hooks, cattys?)

i am fishing at non-go-bye farm at the weekend, i have been there once before and caught 0nly 3 carp, 2 7lbers And a 10lber i also caught a chub of 4lb, i was just wandering what methods would work in this hot weather to improve my catch rate (i was fishing meat 1 foot of the bottom in 5 foot of water)

does anybody know of a canal that i could fish either day ticket or clubs that i could join?

i reacently fished for roach on my local water, i started on the feeder and caught nothing, i changed 3 hrs later to a waggler and still i gaught nothing i could see all the fis boiling on the surface when i fed so i shallowed up my rig and still nothing, so i took everything off my line and all i had was a hook on my line with a single maggot as i cast i had an imediate bit and almost ripped the rod off the rest, why would the bite have been so aggresive and why couldnt i catch on anything else but free0lined maggot

has anybody used the paste pellets from sonu-baits, if so are they any good for using just as paste onto a hook or are they just ment to be wrapped around baits?

i have just got back from my trip, caught bugger all on bread, think ill buy some floaters, the carp werent interested just wanted to sunbathe going again on thursday try to get 1 then

would hair rigging the bait increase the chance of hooking the fish?

try the avanti rods, they are cheap and do the job (10x better than their poles their poles are .....) you can get float and feeder rod combos for 30 quid

what bait will you bring, and will you be using a controller float cupra?

it is good to know i wont be the only one wondering the ponds with a pair of sunglasses and a loaf of bread

i hair-rig disks of bread for surface fishing

ok, ill go and get a bubble float

would a little dumpy 2 1/2 inch pellet waggler do the same job?

with the wether being so warm and sunny would the carp be feeding on the surface or is it too early in the year?
