  1. There isn't one. I have ordered it elsewhere, but they are waiting for stocks from the EU too.
  2. The quality of Primark clothing is absolutely always in the gutter. Patagonia lasts for years and years. Most of Patagonia Europe is produced in Vietnam from what I have experienced, but yes, some of it is Chinese made.
  3. Patagonia is probably made by Uighar Muslims but it's good quality. I suggest Brexiteers should carry on with their Primark shopping.
  4. We need a deal with Biden. We have made it perfectly clear we are Anti European Union haven't we? ..........I didn't.
  5. To be precise they have termed it as'customs duty ' I like Patagonia, its superb quality stuff ?
  6. I am a little peeved. I have ordered a Patagonia jacket from a UK mountaineering website. They have asked me to stump up an extra £17 to allow for the increase in excise duty when shipping from Germany. I have told them to take a running jump, I am only going to pay what was advertised on the website. I will take my business elsewhere, but if this is our so called' deal '. Then the deal is an ars* .
  7. The USA - the world simply pity's you. The greatest country in the world? Not even in the top 15? You never get such insurrection in a Scandinavian country. But I suppose Scandinavia is so much more democratic and the standard of living is way ahead. Sad for the USA
  8. I thought all forms of tiger nuts were very bad for carp from a nutritional point of view? I realise this thread is ancient?
  9. Liebherr are the only brand when it comes to quality fridges/ freezers. Wouldn't look at anything else. To throw one away after five years or so is a environmental disaster.
  10. Yes Miele Vacuums are made in China. Everything else is made in Germany. Hotpoint or Miele? I have made up my mind? What about you?
  11. Fishing is unimportant. The price of my Miele washing machine will be mightily important.
  12. Who cares about roaming charges? I still want to buy a Miele washing machine without huge tarrifs. The average Miele washing machine lasts 23 years. Mine is 21 years old and has never had a engineer out to repair anything. Of course, we have Hotpoint. Oh yes, its not even British anymore. A new one wouldn't even last 6 years. If peasants can't afford Miele that's their problem. But I will always buy German. Incidentally, VW's are overrated. The VW group sells 10 million cars a year, they are doing something right.
  13. Young Brits need to work harder . The difference in work ethic between a Lithuanian and a 17 year old Brit is simply enormous. I work in a Mail Order Warehousing company. Some English youngsters need to step up.
  14. England is a very unimportant country in the grand scheme of things. We are even dwarfed by Germany in terms of industry and world-standing. It's important to accept that.
  15. We have nuclear power stations owned by EDF. And they provide phenomenally good working conditions? Heysham power stations for example
  16. It's taken Nissan in Sunderland 33 years to produce 10 million cars. It is clearly an absolute minnow. 850;000 cars a year are produced at the Wolfsburg Volkswagen plant. The UK is incredibly unimportant when it comes to car production.
  17. We dont need a trade deal with anyone. England can be great again. Look at Tom in the Good Life. We can be entirely self-sufficient again.I used to get picked up from school in a Austin Allegro. Bring them back !
  18. The government has nowhere to store the PPE? What about Calbourne on the Isle of Wight. It makes Margate look like Monaco?
  19. We should have closed our borders immediately the first case was announced. Vietnam and New Zealand have had tremendous success. PPE .... well the jury is out as to how effective it is
  20. PPE? We should be producing 20 million of these a month in our own country?
  21. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-54908129
  22. Looks like Felixstowe is in chaos. We will be the laughing stock of the world if we can't sort it out
  23. German economy would utterly boom if it left the EU. With their strong manufacturing economy
  24. Why would anyone shop at Lidl? It's awful. We have a local luxury supermarket called Booths, it's rather like Waitrose. Quality much more important than price
