Rod license revenue goes directly to the EA for, supposedly, to be spent on the fishing environment. The alternative is for business rates to be levied on all fisheries, with the revenue going directly to the exchequer to be distributed as it sees fit. This will, of course, be reflected in the cost of fees/tickets. The choice is ours!!! E
