My local pet shop has recently started to stock the dinamite baits range of booster crumb and various other dinamite baits.I was wondering if they are good or not.I have bought a few bags of brazeem and strawberry but have yet to try them. What are your thoughts.

that isnt too expensive. The reason they charge to fish is due to the cost to run ,stock ,and insure a lake. But i must admit,the only time i have ever been asked to produce my license is at a private fishery.

I whitnessed a 5lb pike caught on a single seed of hemp on 3lb line and a size 18 hook yesterday. I think it is more likely that the pike went 4 a roach near the hemp and unwhitingly swallowed the hook,i was just wondering if any1 else has caught 1 on hemp.?I had 1 on maggots last month.Them pike ill eat owt!!!!

another great bait for roach are stawberry carp pellets,5mm.slip 2 onto a size 12 hook and feed about 10 per cast.They WILL pull out the bigger fish in yer swim ,and bigger chub luv em too.

I was recently told a tall tale about my local stretch of the river tees at thornaby.A 20 lb mirror carp was pulled out!I just laughed at the thought of it.Just a stupid lad bulling me up i thought.....Untill i saw the pictures and about 5 people conferming it. Now to my knowledge the tees hasnt got a natural body of carp,nor has it been stocked with them. So i was wondering can anyone fill me in on this,as i have been away from the sport for about 4 years.;

in my opinion,if it was as deep as you say,then you did the rite thing.if ud have went any deeper to get it,you would have done more damage than good.The hook will rust within a week anyway so it will work loose in a day or 2. its just an unfortunate accurance that happens to the best of us mate,dont woryy about it.

it may be something to do with the additives in the meat or it could be something as silly as the problem with litter.the saches are usually tin lined there for dont decompose.due to the lack of bins etc peeps are chuckin the sachets in the bushes etc.

i bought set of scales for a fiver and was wondering if they r accurate. i caiught a carp,which to me looked bout 8 ish yet it only weighed 5,it seems to me if they are a bit stiff,but i havnt had scales b4 so i was wondering if they are likely to be accurate.They are made by shakespear ,but they say not legal for trade.Any thoughts

eaglescliff is a brilliant,if not , one of the best spots on the later end of the tees. i fish preston park regularly.I was recently snapped by a perch on its way to my net,i have never seen 1 the size it was , so i think there are some very special perch waiting to be pulled out down there.I have hed them up to 3lb and this 1 was easily double the size. As for saltburn,i havnt realy fished there before. I do know there is a good park at redcar called lockey park which is fishing well lately. I have started fishing at renny lakes at east harsley,just off the the a19 south to osmothersly . its fishing really well. Roach to 2 lb carp to 20 and tench n chub to 4 lb. Pole seems to score well ,as it does on the tees. At preston aprk,bream are caught on the pole at about 11 m ,due to a big self.As anglers round there for the spots.

Im fishing for carp to about 7lb and tench to the same size,what hook size would you use?I will be using hookable boily pellets that are bout 6mm. Cheerz

Any body know of any particular spots along this stretch.I normaly fish thornaby side on horseshoe bend.i used to fish near the pipe bride up preston park end , but that has changed now due to the new bridge.Is that still fishing well???
