Simon a very nice chap but he was very busy so didnt really get chance to chat to him.Anyway after two days at Reedham we gave up and went to Littleport Cambs we found plenty of fishing had a net full of bits andtwo nice pike but missed two hit and run bites. We had a briliant day out at Duxford Air Museum I could of spent two days there. I am back in the sunny Northwest now (its peeing down)but I know where my heart is it got to be the Fens

  9. Ok Chesters I will take your advice. But in my old car its quite funny at traffic lights when boy racers come along aside me look at my old car and smirk but being a auto I knock it into sports mode and leave them standing but not all of them. But I will miss the 2.7lt engine but as I said I got to call it a day on spending on her. 10. My faithful German frauline had her MoT and needs some welding doing and otherbits and bobs so when i asked the garage chap for a quote typical mechanic answer I dont know till I get it on the ramps mmm I thought. so i,ve been thinking about it all weekend and decided to invest in a newer model I seen the one I liked but the wife wants a estate model so thats my street cred gone. The reason for chosen a newer model is that one i got is 16 years old and each year more and more is going to be needed to spent on her( the car that is)so is it time to call the day?.Its very difficult decide I will miss the engine and given some boy racers a run for their money.

    BMWs

Hi Dvcaret I own a beemer too I have the 525 best car I ever had I know she,s 15 years old now but still can give some boy racers the run for their money. BMW drivers always seem to get a bad name but I,ve seen worst ford, corsa, 4x4 and taxi drivers out there.I might trade her in next year for newer model
  13. Something scarey here http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/health/2316791.stm
  14. I also work for a very large food concearn and often read the ingredients on certain products ie hot dogs contain chicken mrm same with a popular brand of meat balls they should be relabled saying may contain meat if you are lucky. And as for burgers I dont even trusted the premium ones and I do not want to know what they use in the cheap ones. i could go on and on naming so called food like chicken roll chicken nuggets and so on.Corned beef what the hell is that they sell here a few years ago I was in the Usa and my aunty asked if I liked corned beef they I pulled a face she was amazed with the look on my face they she showed my the corned beef it was like steak real beef.Just one more thing that amazes me is when parents are shopping they pick up all types of junk containg mrm their answer is its only for the kids yet they can spend over £40 on booze lets get our priorties right here they begrudge spending a little more on getting good food for their children yet fork out for liquor
  15. The trouble with supermarket deli,s the cold meats come into store covered with plastic probaly cooked with it on .I know that the roastmeats they sell isnt roasted but been steam in high pressured vats and God knows whats being pumped into the meat before its cooked. Probaly you right better off cooking your own ham. And By the way isnt the chicken scene scarey
  16. Where the hell can I buy real boiled ham not the plastic processed stuff they sell
  17. Talking about food I am going to start a tread on non fishing chat about the modern day foodstuffs we buy and eat
