  1. Nice one guys thanks a lot! Will give it a go-ski.
  2. i use the wychwood rouge chair, same price but slightly lighter and all the legs lock into place where ever i set them But as jeepster said probably just a dodgey batch
  3. Thanks guys, but i have used the guy ropes and ended up proping the side pannels with sticks, as i like to sit sideways on in my swim, rather than face on, as i like to be shaded from the ellements rather than them hurtelling in my face
  4. Ok cheers, guys, I found i did need the storm poles as otherwise the brotels ribs are just to flimsy in the gusts.
  5. What do you all do with regards to storm Poles? How do you attach them? (as i dont belive there is any storm caps that fit the brotels ribs) and what ones do you use? Thanks all.
  6. JRC Cocoon Chair (Spelling!) is what i now have! Brilliant chair, only problem is weight, altho i go on my bike, so if you have a barrow or a box or anything similar, then ur made
  7. Yep i have 2 GF Alarms, the GFs Cannot Fault them! Superb!! Couldnt ask for a better alarm at a better price!!
  8. a mix of frozen/dried and fermented shrimp mixed with that stuff sounds quite a nasty sort of floavour to have in a bait, but heh, if the fish like em...or not in this case Good luck mate.
  9. Its so you cant see how to get in mate? So You have to stay on the outside, and cos you are so cold it makes you buy another one to go on top
  10. that stuff is very good with cheasy type baits, or fruits otherwise it doesnt seam to have any effect what so ever.
  11. I am starting to go back to the original ways of carping, by this i mean fishing my rods fairly high off the ground so i can rest my hangers about half way between buzzer and ground, (back drops are common in my water) and so then if you look at the way the line enter the water, there is ALWAYS (yes even if you fish tight) a slight bow in the line, maybe not so much if you was fishing very close in but and medium to long distance there is always a slight bow in the mineline, (as i fish leadcore) I am totaly confident that the last few feet will be resting on the bottom fine without any problems. My water is very weedy so i normaly put some PVA foam and a bag on the hook, to keep everything floating for a few seconds so it comes to rest gently on the bottom, but thats going off topic, IMHO i belive that in most situations backleads are not needed, unless you are fishing crystal clear nothing on the bottom pits, then i would have no problem puting backleads on, but i dont think in most situations that backleads are really needed. If that makes sence, then thats MHO. all the best chaps [ 17. July 2005, 01:38 PM: Message edited by: carping_mad ]
