hi all i am looking for new venue's in and around leicester area can anyone help? i like my carp but i also like to noddy bash too .. i have fished makin's and lakeside at wolvey can anyone offer me other venues's? :confused:

all i can say is scale everything down ... instead of using a 16 hook use a 22/24 dont throw as many freebies in just throw 5/6 maggot in for instance as not as often

dave i use the maver deliverance and have never had a problem with it but like the guys have said befor goto your takle shop and try some out

I'd say lagit catch mate in the past i have caught whilst putting a fish in my net ... dropped my line in the edge so not to stand on my float and the next thing all hell broke loose had a good 1lb roach ..lol , That went in my net too next cast .............. at my feet ..lol ian

Can anyone help me i have fished the river soar a couple of times and it is about 6-8 ft deep but it is 4 to 6 ft deep of blanket weed so it is only giving me a couple of foot to fish in any one got any tips i have tried to rake out a patch clear but with the flow it just covers over again :mad:
