  1. single strawberry pop up. no freebies fished about 5yds away from one of the islands. funny thing is i was reeling in to re-bait and thought i'd snagged bottom when the fish woke up and took off like a steam train. arm was killing me when i finally got it in the net.

  3. absolutely 100%true about the wet sack and going crazy in the net. tried to pick it up to get pic had to give up in the end. don't know if there's any truth in the tigernut theory had my one on 1 fake piece of corn sandwiched between 2 real pieces over a bed of corn and hemp.
  4. CHUB RAPID XS easy and quick to put up roomy warm sturdy and less than half the weight of any pram style quick erect bivvy. had a jrc sti bivvy you need to take a barrow just to lug it to your swim. (IMHO)
  5. 27lb 4 oz elphicks north lake in kent also had a 16lb 7oz grass carp as well as a couple of mid doubles.

  12. the problem with the sti al is the weight factor it's gotta weigh 3 or 4 times as much as a chub xs bivvy.

  14. chub xs quick to erect twin skinned sewn in ground sheet had mine now for eighteen months never go fishing without it. in my opinion the dogs danglies.
