  1. Hi All I wonder if any of you can help me I am shortly (next week)going to be carp fishing Tanyards Fisheries in East Sussex and wondered if anyone has fished this venue before and can possibly point me in the right direction for bait, rigs etc. Thanks in advance
  2. I do that tinca, as far as i can see its ok to use drop offs as bite inication but they canot tell you how fast the fish is running or not at all, sort of bib a braces type of thing for those awkward moments when having to have your eyes off the rods
  3. fox p's for me along with delkims on the front to let me know just how fast the beggers are running or not as the case may be. tight lines and roll on winter
  4. what cracking fish well done Jim, well done indeed
  5. Thanks Gaffer that makes a bit more sense, i think i will give it a bash at the weekend and see what occurs.
  6. Tim and Gaffer Thanks for your replies and apologies in the delay in answering but i have been away fishing for a few days. you have both put my mind at rest about the prep-ing of this particular seed mix and also given me a bit more confidence in the use of and the amount as well one more quick one is it possible to over bait with this if so what sort of baiting levels would you recomend and tim i dont mind catching tench in the slightest.
  7. A nice big reservior hundreds of acres but the fish are still there somewhere to be found. for some reason fishing the small rivers and drains round sussex i never really feel comfortable with them and would much prefer to be on a lake or res.
  8. Hi all even having been around the edges of the carp scene for 20yrs now i have never tried partiblend or any of the other birdfood type seed groundbaits, i would however like to have a go at using partiblend bait beds and fishing over them with boilies. my question is this what is the best way to prepare partiblend, do you just soak it in boiling water or is it necessary to boil it. also how would you go about applying it catapult or spod and would you cover a largish area hoping that it keeps the carp in your swim rooting around for every bit or have a tight area of bait for the carp to find and munch on but keep on topping up the area as time passes hopefully you can help me with these questions as all the carping magazines seem to have differing views on how to prepare seeds and i for one am fairly confused by it all thanks
