ello ppl just thought id post me new rod its an 8 ft mustad viking multitip rod class 8 / 10 / 15 tips looked good got it for £35 from brazils dover im also stripping everything from my gear box and taking what fits in two very small containers ones for lures made a space for everets others for light bullets 3 pack of hooks and hook leader thats its lol hopefull with a lighter yak ill enjoy it more will make space for a fly rod very soon i hope

ello yakkers ive been thinking that my fly gear meant for trout line 4/6 i think is no good so i would like a reasonable starter kit for sea fly fishing not just a link to a general website as i dont know what names brands models lines im looking for i was hoping some one would know from experience a good rod reel line combo and if one is available ive bought trout fly gear before and i took me a few purchase's to get a setup up sorted was hoping to get it right first time id guess everet or nifty i think are the ones here with the knowledge i aint rich so no 100 plus quid rods or 100 plus quid reel

ya if some one who is regular or a local find that the critters are in im sure i could shoot up there on a thursday come back on a sat morning

hi ppl i had the worst catch rate lol 2 wrasse fo rmy efforts windy saturday was an understatment and almost capsized wedged on a rock going down the river i was also turn round so had to navigate the last of the rocks backwards lol but hey it was fun on sunday i quit around 2 pm to let my friend play on my yak in the surf everett recond the water was to dirty for the bass to play with i did get to see seals and dolphins real close that made my day i will go down there again and try and get a fish over 2 pounds in weight will add picks at a later date

hmm recomed that over one of these full carbon fladdy jobbys ive heard a lot about erm is it possible to get an map link for the route there any tips on what way to go what to avoid etc

looks like ill have to go to costco to get simons wages anyone know where i can get a reasonable tope rod at short notice i heard fladdens sell for 60 pounds ish oh has anyone warned the campsite where gonna be there lol

i still aint got myself a rod for tope fishing the rods i use are was made for pike fishing also great for spining there 4peice shop custom rods if used to carp fishing i think they could throw out a 1 oz lead easy enuff so was thinking of getting some kinda fladden max full carbon jobby i just dunno lol

question do you fish with one or two rods while after tope i was thinking a lighter rod smaller bait and a main rod with whole mackerel trace etc would that be ok or should i just go one main rod?

thaks for advice i believe i wont be arriving till late of friday 9pm ish i i think in time for drinking though would my shock leader do for the trace ? and would pike wires work from local shop?

i might buy an anchor of you i only have one and its 1.5 kgs i aint made traces before so ill be fishing for knowledge on that also do we have to beef up lines used etc or is 18 or so lbs good enuff?

i think i mentioned earlier that the campsite gives discounts for groups over 15 maybe we can do a head count and see if we can get a discount going

my ambition is to catch more than one fish over 2 pounds in weight phooi you based in london if so maybe we can arrange a link up at places im thinking of stopping my current job get one that allows more weekend time since my ozzy girlfiend is leaving uk for good and taking my daughter with her ill need a hobby to keep me occupied and this year its gonna be the yak

looks like its a good signal for other boats too but for 185 squids im sure we can knock up something better specialy snce a lot of ppl are weathered of the water at the moment so it would be a laugh to see ppl come up with some plans on a paint doc or maybe knock up a prototype something amusing or serious to pass the time
