  1. How weird is that... I've just sold my P13 to get a Drifter! Personally, the Drifter is alot more stable than the P13 but suffers from a wetter ride. I havn't noticed any difference in speed at all, in fact I was thinking the Drifter felt like it was slightly quicker?! It's a very personal thing buying & paddling kayaks and even after a summers worth it can be a minefield.
  2. Sorry guys but it's sold already... Took about 1 hour!
  3. Prowler 13 for sale... The boat was bought new, by me, in February 2006 and is in excellent condition. It comes fitted with a Humminbird (Pirahna Max10) fish finder, an anchor pulley system already rigged, a Scotty (fly rod) mount up ront and a padded seat. It is also the angler version so has the the recessed tubes behind the seat as well as the tackle box up front... All you need is the paddle! £350
  4. That was quick then... Normally this sort of information takes years to compile, with surveys and research, etc. Probably just small talk and rumours. ...I hope so anyway!
  5. He who hesitates and all that! Something like that.
  6. Well, you've changed your tune since last time!
  7. Err, I was borrowing it from someone!
  8. It was indeed a great trip and good to meet up (and have a drink or three) with both old faces and new. I managed to land 5 x Bass, on fly, with the largest going around 4½lb. Someone else has the shot on their camera. The camp site was excellent and even the weather played ball for the most part , with Friday being the best day. A few shots of the gathering, Yak stylee... Stuart showing just how stable the new Malibu is! There's always one... Mike O taking a bath A self take of me with a Bass moustache! Admiring the Tope piccies around the camp
  9. Because I've bought an even smaller inflatable lifejacket and don't really need two flotation devices.
  10. Some excellent ideas popping up on this thread. If you mount your finder in/on the second cup-holder, on a P13, do you think it best to have the whole thing higher than the drainage groove? Also, does anyone know of another plastic item that can be used to fit in the cup holder, size wise?
  11. Nearly new, Yak free fall PFD (Med/large) for sale - used once only and in A1 condition £50 Check link to see what it looks like... http://www.bournemouthcanoes.co.uk/product...ak-freefall.htm
  12. Nice story and a happy ending! If you think it was cold doing a tank test you should had been on the water today... I think we came back in two bits today, where the wind had cut us in half!
  13. D'oh! I'm assuming these 'findermounts' fit straight into a standard Scotty flyrod holder?
  14. Can anyone advise on where I can buy a Scotty fish finder mount, in the U.K?
  15. My friend & I had the other two Flame P13's . It's been a long wait, but worth it. Crazzy cockpit colours! Room for the kids as well.
