  1. lets face it if it works for you keep it avg is a nice free anti virus and very effective for nothing.
  2. ones on xp professional and another on xp home. dont really need security and will not be sharing an internet connection. i think you been through similar problems with kendo before now. but will be grateful for any advice.
  3. g-force fx5200 256mb ddr. brillant card the best i have owned. surely the manufacturer should take it back and replace it.

  5. wired newt. all relevant checks have been made such as type of cable crossover or straight. they are straight. kendoes computers (host) >> hub << kendos other computer thats how its set up. all drivers on network cards up to date etc just cant seem to see each other in workgroup. sometimes kendo can see me but then when he trys to access my shared folders it says access denied or somthing along the line of that. nuttin but problems problems problems
  6. no sellers address i am afraid. the problem happens on all games so i know its not a compatibility issue old and new games.
  7. whats your opinion? personally i feel that its wrong and the spanish fans have alot to answer for, read a story in the paper yesterday about a coloured teacher who was subject to monkey noises in one of his lessons the day after the spain vs england game. this was all due to the spainish fans making these monkey noises. but also i feel some of the problems more in this country have come about due to the fact that more and more and more and more coloured players are coming into the game. if the goverment/public want to stamp out racism why not start by stamping it out in the countrys biggest sport FOOTBALL!
  8. fair enough newt just seems that since kendo updated to service pack 2 he has had endless problems. the freezes when connecting to the net. the network doesnt work for some crazy reason all though we have spent about 3 days trying to make it work. but touch would his machine seems to be running fine except for this lil task bar issue.
  9. if its just the video card ill be made up. i was looking down the lines of a new pc. ill have to check it with a spare one witch i have. but its only a recent card its 3 months old which was bought from the computer fair. is there some sort of 12 month manufactures gurantee on g force cards?
  10. i am pretty certain the serivce pack 2 is a load of balls. it seems to have endless problems. such as the limited of no connectivity with the network. an i got a felling this is service pack 2 related now try the repair feature on service pack 2 disk it might fix it. may have delted certain system files when scanning for spyware of somthing.g
  11. seem to think it is an option to save ya password. open the program then go to: tools >> accounts >> mail ensure its set as default i am not sure if this is the problem but maybe it might just help. p.s. if the box is checked etc then it should remeber ure password all the time
  12. right will give it a try newt. but my computers is actually at kendos. dont think ill be up there till thursday though. so ill try and report back soon. currently on a laptop which is so slow msn messenger struggles to load. think its 300mhz with about 32 meg of ram. brillant.
  13. hello everyone i am new to anglers net. anyway. my computer runs fine when searching the net and using very basic programs such as microsoft office and other similar applications. it seems to freeze when i play a game for example when i play football manager 2005,it seems to happen on all games old and new. tried pretty much everything. i am starting to think its a hardware problem. sometimes it will just shut down during the middle of a game. its usually about 5-10 minutes into a game. hope ya can help
