Westerlies stir up food etc and also pull the fish much closer into the shore!! Jan / Feb always the worst months for catches - Westerlies in March are known to rekindle the fish into feeding. Breeding seasons over and water warms up!!! ALL in ALL WE need Westerlies.....

Went down to minus 11!!!!! demon Not a bite on five baits in the sea - using 6 different types of bait - ALL night !!!! Then a single dog at 6.00am - thats my report!!! Only two dogs caught on 1 mile stretch of Abbs through 24 hour period ...... Things will pick up this month once we get a westerlie or two!!!!! Lets hope........... demon
