hi craynerd Depending on which modle you have u can use an alarm for anything that swims. jonah got a good point about getting the basics going rite first but involve the alarm later in the sesh if the tipping is slow or the winds giving false bites on the tip. could just wet that net. put you in my msn book keep at it mate and you will get there.

evening all try this way with fluro hairs.Leave a 3in hair and tie a std knottless knot, now slip a stainless ring on the open hair. Then pass the end of the hair back through the eye forming a stand up loop. Trim any excess leaving1/4inch out of the eye. with e lighter heat the tag end which causes a blob and stops the hair undoing.
