Buying hooks today, I was told to buy the 1/0's, the fella in the shop had been fishing with John Skeggs (Tomkat) using the same rigs and the ones with the smaller hooks were missing the fish.

Hi Ken, Glad you enjoyed the day, nice bloody fish by the way, should have dipped Rob in salty stuff If your after smuts then fresh peeler worked better than everything else that day. Avoid frozen edible crabs as I caught nothing on them, soon as I nicked a couple of Kevins live ones I was straight into fish. Also found frozen hermits did the job as second choice. Hi all, I have three spaces on a wrecking trip on Monday April 11th. The trips is with RobT on Electric Blue out of Lymington. We have limited the number to six to give plenty of room.
