Dirty Dave

Don't know if you can get these over in the UK. I use a Uniden Voyager, it retails for around $190 US. I got mine on sale at $90 awhile back and had it for over a year. This radio has seen plenty of abuse and it is still working great. Best of all is its size, just slightly larger than a pack of fags.

Had a great weekend out on the water in Placida Florida. The 28.5 inch Redfish in the picture was actually caught by my charter. The ugly bugger in the photo is me. I will post more detailed pictures when I get back into town folks. One thing I do have to note that is a little off topic. On the Prowler 13 the forward rod holder tend to be too far foward to reach from the seated position. What I did to remedy this was to install a Scotty fly rod holder instead of the standard bait cast cradle. This allows you to place and remove the rod just by grabbing the butt of the rod.

Very nice picture. Kinda reminds me of the Striped Bass my father and I would catch off the coast of New England during their annual runs.

Hey ya horses ar$e I got you e-mail and I have some other stuff to send ya mate Now for the crate question. I have found little use for one myself. What I have is a soft side cooler that I use as my tackle bag. This bag has a few outside pockets for small boxes and items. In the main compartment, I store a few Plano boxes with my hard baits, 2 worm binders and the small case with my digital camera. The beauty of this set up is that coolers are leak proof, water inside cannot leak out. The cooler also, most importantly, keeps water from getting in. All of my lures and gear stay nice and dry-even in the worst conditions. The only time I have gotten water inside is if a very heavy rain should come upon me whilst fishing. The water can bypass the lid zipper other that that, I have been in heavy surf and not a drop of water ever made it in. Here's a picture. The bag is the large one toward the rear of the tank well. One of the many Snook taken on a jerk bait last Sunday night. This one was about 30" as a "guessament".

Sorry for the late reply mate. I have been out of town for the last four days running part of a paddle fishing tournament and a kayaking festival. Did manage to sneak out and do a little fishing Friday morning and Sunday night. Life is really good man. I'll drop in on a chat soon as I can. Going back out of town as I am booked solid for the last part of this month. My other half also has me doing some home improvement projects.

Nice Spotted Sea Trout caught in St.Pete Florida. Fish of this size are pretty common in this area during the winter.

Nice refinements. Still looks like a barge though.

Just dropping in lads (and lassies). Got this address off of another site in the U.S. Just what I need, another site to visit. I run a kayak fishing charter service here in Florida. I've been at it for about 2 years now, but have been paddling and fishing for over 26 years. I see the Ocean Kayak Prowler 13 is pretty popular across the pond. These are what I use in my charters.
