Got the last 2 from ASDA @ Dunbar on my way up to a meet at North Berwick. A lady angler at the meet also had one.She says they have been available for a couple of years now, anyway they are BRILL, Got one in the van with double sided tape but when the missus sees it I think she'll claim the other one. Looks like another trip to ASDA when the new stocks are in. Got to be the bargain of the year.

I have got a few of the smaller 3 L.E.D. lamps I use in my camper van and I use rechargeable batteries in all of them with no bother at all so I would think they should be O.K. for these as well. Off to ASDA tomorrow!

I think they are top gear,light secure and don't interfere with your grip on the rod. Glad they are back!

I found that if you dangle the fish by holding the line only,when you tighten the disgorger up to the hook the fish can turn so the hook is in the correct position to be released.

I got one of these from the tackle shop in Tobermory 4 or 5 years ago.It was in a bargain bin and did not cost much at all.I found it awkward to use but persevered and now use it for all deep hooked fish.Glad they are back on the market because I have only one.

Hi there,One of the best all round beachcasters I have tried is the Century CCC which is available in low or normal diameter.I have only tried the normal one but I have read great reports about both rods.They are very user friendly and look great as well.Hope this is of some help.
