  1. The 15 was well behaved and no us west country folk dont need hats just a piece of straw does nicely.. ooooaaaaaa Terry was a good boy and did not need pulling from the pub I did wonder why he was behind the bar though??? Nice day out though, but the next day ooooooo my shoulders :-) ChrisW
  2. Hi Mike, I guess what you are talking about is where you rest your feet on either side at toe level. If thats the case they are for bars with little pegs sticking out which gives your feet extra support when paddling which are fully adjustable to suit your leg length. ChrisW
  3. Hi Jersey, I have just been out on my Prowler 15 this weekend and it is as stable as a rock. You will have to do something silly to tip it over like tackle a wave side on???? If you are thinking about transporting it on a 4 X 4 it will be a handful to get it on top. ChrisW
  4. Check this out........E Bay Item Number 7207925727 Is this real or what

  7. Yep I know where you are coming from Phooey, I am having the same problem just where do you fix a rod holder for trolling without it getting in the way of everything else???? ChrisW
  8. Did someone say "Composite Kayak" I could make that Im a boat builder by trade In fact anything in glassfibre ChrisW
  9. Hi Chuggs, Yea Im in a little village just outside Exeter so the coast is not really too far for me, all within an hour and a easy drive. Chrisw
  10. Working on the two trips idea (experienced and novice) how about launching from Brixham for the less experienced? There is a nice beach to launch from next to the marine with no boat traffic close in and just around the corner you have a couple of deep water marks but still staying close to shore. There are plenty of campsites within easy distance of the launch site for anybody who needs to travel but would like to fish down here. Just a thought :-) Chrisw
  11. Hi Guys, How about Slapton Sands (well pebbles)? I am still rigging my Yak so have not yet been out in her although very keen to get fishing. The skerries sounds great but I would feel a little nervous to tell the truth to go that far out for a first trip. I have a Prowler 15 so come guys convince me everything would be ok. Anybody fancy nursing a newbie at the sport for a short trip or paddle? What a wimp eh! ChrisW

  13. Hi Kishkash, I know what you feel like, I picked up my Prowler 15 a couple of weeks ago. By the way if you want a trip out sometime give me a shout Im only in Exeter. As for the two seater the misses is bad enough in the car never mind on the back of a Kayak :-) ChrisW
  14. Hi Merlin, I went for the Prowler 15 just because the price was right and just like the 13 its been proven. I dont think you really need to worry about the colour I have a green prowler and even though the point about being seen is a good one it is easy to sort out, I will be sticking a couple of floresent strips around the bow and stern.
