Went to the Natural History Museum yesterday. What a beautiful building that is! Anyway spotted these 4 monkeys on my way round. Two of them look very familiar to me.

I have to say that I love olliejays picture, ok ok I can hear everyone saying that im biased but I love the effect that the outer part has. It looks so dreamy and I just love looking at the photo and thats what I think good photos should do to you. I think making such a good photo out of such a everyday objects take alot of imagination and skill. Well done Ollie keep up the good work

Thank you! They may look like angels but believe me sometimes they are not. But I can't complain they are alot better behaved than most kids I know. How cool to find a broody man there isn't many out there especially as young as 29. There will be a Mrs Right somewhere just keep looking!

What a great improvement it makes but I have no idea how to do it!! I don't have any photo editing software only what came with my camera. Can I do it on that or should I invest in some software? I love that shot, its a building I walk past everyday until this challenge I never really took too much notice, unfortunatly it's slap bang in the middle of town centre so I was unable to get in the postition I wanted too without a hoard of angry saturday shoppers tripping over me or even worse thinking I was mad!! Which picture do you mean? And when you say to rotate it counter clock wise to get it perpendicular do you mean paralle (sp?) Sorry to be thick but I have only just taken up photography and would be grateful for any tips. Tubularbelle Thanks for your comment.

Tubularbelle I understand completely what you are saying about technology. This is our first slr camera we have bought and I have to say I was amazed by the prices of some of the others. It can be hard to compete with people who have all these amazing filters and lenses but there is definetly alot of satisfaction in looking outside the box, using some imagination and setting up a shot that millions of lenses and filters would have no effect on. Why do I feel old?? No he doesn't make me scale his fish lol hes a catch and release guy. I suppose it's just the age my 2 girls are at they can be very demanding sometimes bless them! Luckily though they are very photogenic and I love taking photos of them. P.S your photos are great you are lucky to live in such a gorgeous place there must be so many great places to take photos of.
