Hi All

I have just recieved an email from Ross Finnie's Dept. He is the minister for the Environment and rural affairs in Scotland. Apparently he hasn't made up his mind yet whether to conduct a survey on the worth of recreational sea angling in Scotland. I would appreciate it, if as many people as possible were to send him an email to try and persuade him.

His email address is ross.finnie.msp@scottish.parliament.uk

many thanks

Ian

Just had a reply to an email I sent to one of my MSP's asking for them to ask for the minister to conduct a survey:

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Thanks for that. I have tabled a written question. The purpose of so doing is not so much to obtain an answer, though that will be done, as to highlight the issue on the public record

The written questions are published in the Daily bulletin which records all Parliamentary business. That is available on the Parliaments website. I expect that this question will probably appear on Mondays bulletin.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Hope it is of some use. In general MSP's and MP's are more effective at changing ministers minds than mere members of the public.
