YES i have a yak. very basic & needs some love, but a yak no less. pulled up outside bournemouth canoe centre & there it was, sat outside with beckys' name painted all over it. well i had to have it didn't i.

 

is it unlucky to change a yaks name, only i've never had a yak called eric before.

Re changeing the name, an old custom is......before you change the boats name....you must ask its permission, then re-name it.

But dont mention Eric to it

As for the scratches, better to live with them.

am back from fishing now, have fished lime regis pier with john storey.

 

caught big poor cod & put em back, they were very sweet !

 

met very nice angler from usa who was a dorset boy originally.

 

just nice to be out there.

 

cant wait to get out on the yak
