I had worked for a company which did work for a Virgin company and having witnessed Virgin's standards and work practices - allied to experiences with Virgin Trains and Virgin Atlantic, decided that under no circumstances would I work for a Branson company again.

 

I did work for Telewest = then a stand alone company owned by its banks. I was aware that they were negotiating a takeover by NTL - and had been aware that negotiations were on-going between Branson and NTL. For that reason I left as soon as I could. My performance at no time attracted anything approaching disciplinary action - quite the reverse.

 

I'd suggest what I did was both honourable and entirely understandable in the circumstance.

LOL... Definitely.. I was simply very annoyed at the level of 'service' I was getting from Virgin, or more accurately put, I was annoyed that I wasn't getting any service from Virgin. But when was that news?
