It isn't just Virgin Atlantic....

Alan, please correct me if I'm wrong but I have a (very) vague recollection of you being a one time employee of Virgin. If so, were you sacked, made redundant or did you just leave by choice?

I had worked for a company which did work for a Virgin company and having witnessed Virgin's standards and work practices - allied to experiences with Virgin Trains and Virgin Atlantic, decided that under no circumstances would I work for a Branson company again.

I did work for Telewest = then a stand alone company owned by its banks. I was aware that they were negotiating a takeover by NTL - and had been aware that negotiations were on-going between Branson and NTL. For that reason I left as soon as I could. My performance at no time attracted anything approaching disciplinary action - quite the reverse.

I'd suggest what I did was both honourable and entirely understandable in the circumstance.

So really its the person who is giving you grief that you want to kill and definitely not Richard Branson and you definitely don't want to exterminate any of his holdings

LOL... Definitely.. I was simply very annoyed at the level of 'service' I was getting from Virgin, or more accurately put, I was annoyed that I wasn't getting any service from Virgin. But when was that news?
