Looking to join a club which does a range of fishing trips. Any suggestions ?? Tried to contact East Kilbride A C by e-mail but didn,t get an answer. Does any body have any suggestions ??

Avon Angling Club has approximately 14 miles of fishing on the River Avon, a major Clyde tributary passing Strathaven, Stonehouse and Larkhall on its way to join the Clyde at Hamilton. Excellent brown trout and grayling fly fishing with improving runs of salmon and sea trout. Annual membership of Avon A.C. available at reasonable rates. Enquiries should be directed to fishing tackle shops in the area.

Was a member of Avon Angling club for several years. Got a bit bored fishing same water. Want to find a club which does a number of trips eg. to Lake of Mentieth,Loch Leven, Butterston etc

Try the UCAPA, think they're the biggest in the area, but don't know if they do trips, etc.
