ok, thought about fishing a large dry on the point with droppers 6" apart, a spider just under and a larger fly 12" under on the point ?

 

should work well especially where theres a touch of current.

 

just a thought.

Tried a few things, found that a small dry on the point, then two spiders on dropper above that, works quite well. Havent tried a big dry on the point...next years mission me thinks!!
