fly lines

The only time I ever get pike on the fly is when I am not fishing for them, Mind you the Medway is probably not the best Pike fly water!

Need to get myself on Bewl again.

I usually take the fly line from the packaging and spread it in the grass, wind it in under tension , this takes any twist out of the line, I do this with my lines about twice a season. Just finished cleaning the floaters, gave them a coat of car interior plastic cleaner what a difference it makes(armour all !) try it youl be amazed the line flies out. Dont try it with intermediates they tend to float!!!!!

Roll up a magazine and slide it through the middle of the unspooled line and presto! hey! instant spool!
