How can I secure my Suzuki 50hp outboard to my boat [sea Hog Sea Jeep]other than with the bolts etc that are already there?

 

It seems some insurance companies will not pay out if the engine is pinched and has no other security.

hi colin, might be a good idea to get in writing,a letter from your insurance company,setting out what they consider,to be correct security.

then if something happens you have followed their guidelines.

There are outboard locking devices out there, find out which one your insurance company wants.

 

I lock mine up inthe garage!
