Cormorant Quill Floats

So i have been told the most popular method of suicide for cormorants is a cable tie round there neck. God knows how they tie them.

I'm told that it is impossible to tell the difference between a cormorant and a crow when looking along the barrel of a shotgun. not being a shooter (any more), I wouldn't know.

I got a set of Crow quill Avons back in the mid 80's from Topper (he used to sell them from the back of his car at draws on Bristol Avon matchs) still going strong!

 

Chavender,did you make your own styrofoam bodies or use pre shaped ones?

i made my own ,not found a supplier of foam bodies yet ,although i don't make my own balsa bodies much anymore as i've a supply of these ready made that are great ,being more uniform ,but do still make some balsa bodies for one off's etc
