boilies to paste?

Is it possible to make paste from a frozen pack of boilies?

 

Heard of it before, but not sure how to do it?

I suppose if you put them through a blender till they become a powder and add a couple of eggs you should get a paste?

Yes, Thought of that, but would more eggs upset the balance in the make up, and the breakdown time? any thought appreciated

The extra eggs won't affect the balance in that there's no real balance or make up in the first place. Different boilies have different compositions and all work. It is of course easier and cheaper to make a paste from base mix rather than ground boilies.

ok rob but, the thing is I have a massive surplus of ready mades and I want to convert a kilo back to paste thats all...

i would personally just blend them up and maybe add one egg to get the right consistency as iff you were making them all over again! an extra egg wont do too much to the overall bait especially if its a paste that you want

basically i wanted to make some paste to put around my boilie hookbait but dont want to have to buy a seperate base mix when i have ample baits.

 

What it the breakdown rate of a paste? if I reblend what I have?

i make my own bolies now and again,all u neeed is semolina,rice flour, half dozen eggs and ur imagination with flavours boil for standard bolies,microwave for pop ups....cheap easy and alot of fun when u catch on ur own wares

Ive been banned from making boilies should not have tried using lug and crab flavour, however I still make pastes using base mixes, flavours and eggs, they work to.
