i know nothing about conduit but i need to get a few bits to fabricate as a bush remover on my car.

2" npsc fully threaded coupling

2" machined npt end cap

probably easiest to show the page ,now these are probably american initials? anyone know where i could (or what its used for) get it ,jewsons ,B&Q?

i could beat the crap out the old bush but with a heavy volvo hovering over you on a axel stand i would prefer a gentler approach :D

What you are after is American pipe fittings Mate. Our equivalent would be BSPP (parallel thread) and PSPT (taper thread) As usual in engineering these are not directly compatible with different thread forms and diameters e.g. the BSP 2" is actually 2.347" and the American NSPC 2" is actually 2.375". Not a great difference I grant you but the NSPC form is not to my knowledge a commonly available thread form in this country (a plumber might put me right there!).

My guess is that the equivalents would be two of these galvanised 2" wrought iron socket pt no. 1071050 and 2 of these 2" BSP male threaded plug pt no. 1029009. from this place.https://www.pisces-aqua.co.uk/acatalog/

They might be available from a local plumbing stockist.

It looks as if the threads need to be turned off one of the plugs.

Good luck, hope that helps.

Chesters is the thread size important? it seems that the parts go together to make a press and Puller a bit of old steam 2" steam barrel and a G cramp would effect the same result, I find it odd that the internal diameter of that Bush houseing would be imperial what with Volvos being Europian cars, can you make the same rig in Metric eqivalant parts?

Try googleing Yateson Stainless they do mild steel fittings as well.
