Carp Rod Tubes

Hi guys, Anyone know where I can get hold of a carp rod tube. I mean the triangular profile type, over 6 ft long. I was recently given a new carp rod in a cloth bag, but my local tackle dealers don't seem to stock this type of tube.

terryk, I will agree with aanthony on this one if you are not traveling. If you need a different type of hardcase, you might consider the www.basspro-shops.com/servlet/catal...arTarget=browse Plano Deluxe Hardcase. I have used them and I TRUST them to protect my rods when traveling by commercial carriers. On the padded cases, a toatall with the protection that you want might be an advantage. Terry, would square suit you? If so you might try square rainwater pipe, you can get it from B&Q or most builders merchants.

 

You can cut and make your own end caps, the plumbers plastic pipe adhesive will stick it solid as a rock.
