hooklink materials

In a word - badly !

They are fine in testing until you give them a sharp hard tug then tend to break.

I have recently bought some Suffix Stealth Skin and Sink Skin and these seem ok but it will take time before they give me the same confidence of Super Mantis and Snake Skin.

Cheers

Why buy imitations when you can have the real thing?

Although I must admit that I prefer sufix to mantis for a low diameter hybrid hooklength.

Some good stuff in the sufix range and it's cheaper than the kryston stuff.

Andy,

Agree totally, the fox hooklength materials do not seem to have the reliability of the Kryston products.

Super Mantis has now replaced Snakeskin as my favourite hooklength material it's so versatile.

However, I haven't given the Sufix range much of a viewing but given yours & woodzzz post a closer look is in order I think.

Peter.

The loose lines gone..STRIKE.

Early days with the Suffix but they have come through the first batch of tests well.

They have one definite advantage to Mantis in that they do sink although I think Sink Skin should be called Sink Eventually Skin but it gets there in the end !

Cheers
