I wont mate! Despite recieving conformation of them recieving my email ref the laminating of the new rod licences Ive still not got a reply....................suppose theyve got to have a meeting about it or launch a multi million pound investigation first though..........

And thats my "non indicative opinion"!

Boats can be legally used when the river is a "navigation". In the case of the Severn thats below Welshpool. I dont know the situation regarding fishing ans riparian rights.

this "navigation" is all in the mind ,the wey here at tilford is classed as un navigable yet the EA use boats on it and just in 1178 it was used for barges carrying stone to the abbey and whilst the village council use the "un navigable" stance to ban canoes (except the vicars) they have an annual raft race on it :schmoll:

riparian owners have no say in reality (different in everyday life though) they don't own the river so technically if you dont touch the land alongside or underneath the river your not breaking any laws??????
