Do you ever groundbait when carp fishing?

I've tried it quite a lot of times but never caught i always have success when i'm not using groundbait. So do you ever groundbait when carp fishing? :confused:

i have caught lots of carp using groundbait in conjunction with particles and boilies...get a sack of vitalin,its about a tenner for 25kg and it works a treat,just add a few other goodies like hemp seed and crushed boilies or what ever you are using

tackle shops are more exspensive though...

you can use groundbait for carp and coarse. You can use it around a method feeder or just throw it in when it is moulded into balls.

Casters mixed in with crumb, can't beat it.

 

Otherwise pigeon food, mixed with pellets and boilies.

I've got a few different feeders- maggot feeder, Method feeder, swim feeder. I've also tried using a catapult many times!
