its old news now mate.....
-
it is because the line is passed thruogh the front of the eye and whipped the wrong way around the shank,or thats what it looks like? topbait
-
hello Backleads are used to conceal lines(or just to get the line out of the way)generally they are put onto the line just after casting out and droppped down into the water (i use them as close to the tips as possible) not loads of advice but its a start topbait

hello... just because you cant use braid dont mean you cant use mono, weather it be a hooklink or mainline.....if you only sling out 1 rod for carp try using 10lb mainline,Daiwa sensor is reasonbly cheap and is pretty strong....as for hooklinks there are 100s to choose from,i personnaly favour 12lb grand max riverge as it has the diameter of about 6 or 7 lb line and its flurocarbon so is quite see through on the lake bed and knots really well topbait "keep on keeping on"

The anglers that do this type of thing are not only looking for fame ,but are seriously cheating themselves...i thought fishing was trying to catch a fish not about being famous or telling fishermans tales about the size of the fish that do get caught!!!!! topbait!

hello... Depending on the type of lake you are going to fish, would depend on the type of tackle you would require.....but a rod an reel is a start!! do you intend to fish a float or a ledger style set up? is the lake well stocked? is it a big lake? answer these and i will try and help you,if i can.... topbait "keep watching the water"

hello.......... its not that ive lost it,i just cant seem to do anything right at the moment my last 5 trips have been unsucsessful and then the bloke turns up in the next swim and bangs out a 30 closely followed by a 29,it takes a lot for me to lose all confidence in my approaches as i know they work(and my bait) but like tony c said i suppose every angler as there of days. den I had an angler last season wake me up to tell me he had just had a 31 mirror and that i could be a witness to the capture, but he had all ready returned it....they only cheat there selves in my eyes this person said that he had done self take photography and would show me the pictures next time he sees me............never seen him again!! topbait... hello.... i use a bubble float for close in work because its easy to spot, and because of its shape helps to self hook the fish. For long range stuff i use a converted gardener controller,or a yellow kinder egg filled with water, bright and it casts very well steve "keep watching the water"
