New Yak

I decided this winter to sell the solid stable mini X and buy a longer kayak, I'm more confident on the water now and want to venture further, so I bought a Perception Freedom Angler, this thing is the dogs rowlocks, its stable and a lot faster than the mini X, but it let in a bit too much water from the waves for my liking, so I returned it to Swansea Canoes.

They exchanged it and I took the new one out via the surf today off Aberavon for a few hours, no fish but a great day on the water, (sorry to the angler on the short arm whose line I caught with my trolling lure)

I've checked the yak over and its dry inside.

THANK YOU SWANSEA CANOES

Roll on warmer weather and migrating fish. There are lots of kayakers in South Wales so we'll have a meet soon.

Hi there,

I suggested a meet at aberavon a few weeks ago,but it seems most people are waiting for the warmer weather.Im hoping for a good spell over the may bank holiday.with any luck it will tempt a few people out.
